The Kent Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve at Yockletts Bank is one of the best places in Kent to see rare orchids. Just north east of Ashford the site is tricky to find and park near and pretty muddy on the damp May day we went. Not being orchid experts I’m having great trouble identifying which varieties we found. There is definitely at least three different types but what they are is very much uncertain!
